Choose the portrait you'd like to give
Gift vouchers are available at different values, reflecting the portrait package selected. Depending on the voucher, this can include:

Different portrait sizes
The voucher price includes delivery of the completed portrait to the recipient, so there is no additional portrait delivery charge when the voucher is redeemed.
The voucher is beautifully presented in a gift box and sent to the purchaser by post. UK delivery of the boxed voucher is charged separately at checkout.
How it works
1. Choose your voucher
Select the voucher that best matches the portrait you'd like to give.
2. Give the gift
Your voucher will arrive beautifully presented in a gift box, ready to give to your recipient.
3. The recipient gets in touch
When they're ready, the recipient contacts me using the details on the voucher and provides their voucher reference and suitable photographs of their pet.
4. We create their portrait
I'll discuss their requirements with them and create their portrait according to the package included with their voucher.
5. Their finished portrait is delivered
Once the portrait is complete, it will be carefully packaged and sent to the recipient. This delivery is already included in the voucher price.
Ready to give a gift they'll really treasure?
A few things to know
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
The recipient will be added to my commission diary as a new customer when the voucher is redeemed. Normal commission timescales can be up to 3 months and may be longer during particularly busy periods.
Good-quality photographs are essential to creating a good likeness. If suitable photographs are not available, I may be unable to undertake the portrait. In this situation, the voucher may be transferred to another recipient, subject to the terms below.

Changing the voucher
If the recipient would like something beyond the package included with their voucher — such as a larger portrait, additional pets, a different background or another upgrade — this can be arranged by paying the difference before the portrait is completed and posted.
A voucher cannot be exchanged for a lower-value portrait, and no difference in value will be refunded.

Transferring a voucher
If the recipient does not wish to use the voucher, it may be transferred to another recipient, subject to my agreement.
Any transfer must take place within the original 6-month validity period, and the new recipient must contact me within that same period.

Returns & refunds
The purchaser of the voucher is the person who enters into the purchase with Dogrose & Catnip. Any request to cancel the purchase or request a refund must therefore be made by the original purchaser, subject to their statutory consumer rights.
A recipient cannot exchange the gift voucher for cash or request a refund simply because they have received it as a gift.
Once the portrait commission has started, the voucher cannot be cancelled or refunded.
If there is a problem with the voucher purchase or it has been issued incorrectly, please contact me and I will do my best to resolve the matter.
Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
