How the boxed gift voucher works

1. Choose your voucher
Select the value that matches the portrait you'd like to give.

2. Receive your boxed gift voucher
I'll prepare your gift voucher and send it to you beautifully presented, ready to give.

3. They choose the details
The recipient contacts me when they're ready and sends their photographs. We'll discuss their preferred size, pose
and any other details.

4. I create their portrait
Once everything has been agreed, their portrait is added to my commission schedule and I'll guide them through the process.

Voucher validity
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Redeeming your voucher
Gift vouchers are redeemed in the same way as a new commission and are subject to my current commission schedule. Please allow up to three months for a portrait to be completed, although this may be longer during particularly busy periods.

Photographs
Good-quality photographs are required to achieve the best possible likeness. I'll work with the recipient to select suitable reference photographs.
If suitable photographs aren't available I reserve the right to decline the commission rather than create a portrait that may disappoint. In this situation, the voucher may be transferred to a new recipient with my written agreement, provided this is done within the original six-month validity period.

Refunds
Once purchased, gift vouchers are non-refundable.

Upgrading your voucher
The recipient can put the voucher towards a larger portrait, additional pet, different background or framing by paying the difference

Downgrading
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for a lower-value portrait, and the difference will not be refunded.
